HVO takes pride in its Health and Safety and Environment program. We ensure that all our employees are adequately trained in all tasks that our workers are involved in prior to heading out in the field. HVO frequently updates it training requirements to comply with OHS requirements, as well as company-specific protocols.

Site-specific orientations are completed for any company that HVO preforms work for. These are done during initial orientation to ensure our workers are competent and prepared for work when it comes up.
In addition to classroom training, our workers or new or recently promoted employees are “buddied up” with experienced workers to help guide them along their new career path. Workers often get Competency Evaluation to help HVO and the worker determine the areas of strength and weakness.
Additional training requirements for our workers are completed once they have passed the 3-month probationary period. This includes:
HVO believes in high-quality services and to do so our equipment must be in impeccable condition. Routine maintenance as well as preventative maintenance is completed in scheduled biases by our ticketed mechanics. All our equipment goes through various inspections such as CVIPs, full B620 tank inspections on tank units and pressure testing of all pressure rated hoses.
